Dartmouth Health Human Resources Operations Associate in Lebanon, New Hampshire

Overview

Thisentry level Human Resources Operations Associateposition maintains complete and accurate employee records using established guidelines and processes to meet regulatory compliance. They support key stakeholders with all internal and external file inquiries.

This is a full-time, 40-hour/week, hybrid position working Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Training for this position will be on-site at our Lebanon, NH campus. Once fully trained, two days/week onsite will be expected.#LI-Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Uses good judgment, prioritization, and decision-making skills to ensure the accuracy of HR electronic records for the documentation of required employment requirements. Uses established processes to review potential gaps when needed and escalates to HR Compliance for assistance.

  • Supports HR Compliance in the preparation of employee records during calendar clearing internal and external regulatory audits, including those for The Joint Commission (TJC), PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC), etc.

  • Collaborates with Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition for full employee file checks pulled from all DH Systems (ex. OnBase, PeopleSoft, Halogen, Symplr, iCIMS, Ellkay, etc.)

  • Completes adhoc file pulls as requested (offer letters, applications, resumes).

  • Assists DHH employees with Verification of Employment Requests (VOE) related to Public Service Forgiveness Loans, Department of Defense, Housing, etc.

  • Digitizes and files paper employee records in areas where such needs are required for regulatory readiness.

  • Provide Admin Support for Workability to process Workers Compensation Claims for Bennington/SVMC through AIM Mutual portal.

  • Onsite Mail Triaging.

  • Triages Employee Records mailbox by providing exceptional customer service to employees, managers, and other stakeholder inquiries received.

  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree with 1 year of Customer Service experience or the equivalent years of education and experience required.

  • 1 year of experience in a Human Resources setting preferred.

  • Background in, or familiarity with, licensure in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • HR system experience preferred.

  • Excellent time management, critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills required.

  • Must be able to function as a team member, and take initiative to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and propriety at all times.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
